Mr. Barua  has completed his  Masters  in Management Science,  under the  University of Poona and Master of Arts in political Science under Tilak Maharashtra University, Poona. He has also done his Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law and labour welfare  from  Symbiosis Institute under Poona University .

There after he worked in Brahmaputra Hospital Private Limited, Guwahati  as a Manager, Public Relation and Business  Development and he was also associated with GNRC, Hospital Guwahati .  After that, Mr.  Barua worked as a Centre Head at Centum Learning Centre (A Bharati  Group Institute) in Guwahati. During his tenure in Centum Learning Centre he has archived National Award from Centum Group of Institute.

Under his stewardship Ayursundra Hospital has emerged as a forerunner of integrated healthcare and also has a robust presence across the healthcare spectrum in Guwahati. With the experience of more than 20 years in Health care Management and other fields, his recognition is outstanding working in the field of healthcare public relation.
